I’ve been playing guitar since 1985. I learned the basics of guitar by trial and error …but the real fun began trying to figure out what Ritchie Blackmore, Eddie Van Halen and the Shrapnel Records musicians were doing. Before guitar I was already listening to my Parents record collection which had Blue Grass, Singer Song Writer musicians and Big Band musicians. My Sister had all the 70’s and 80’s Pop and Rock records and my Brother had all the kick ass Rock, Hard Rock and Metal. I definitely had a nice musical palette to choose from.

Like any musician just starting out, I wanted the flash and excitement of what was going on in the 80’s So, that is where I focused a lot of my energy on guitar.

Although I still love music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s I have an open musical mind that needs to be fed new musical information. Through each decade I would absorb and grow with all the changing musical styles. Even as we enter 2022 (and beyond) I will look for new and exciting musical styles to quench my musical thirst to incorporate into my song writing.

I love writing and recording music. Something about the process of having a spark of an idea and turning it into a completed songs is fun for me. I Mix and Master all my music (even if people think my Mixes sucks) I keep working at it and keep getting closer to the final sound I want my music to be. I’m still missing a few Pro Mix secrets but eventually I will crack the magical Pro Mix code and get there.
